SunnyCam CES 2016 Press Release

SunnyCam is pleased to annouce the new range of stylish eyewear that allows users to record HD video on the move. As well as the Classic Edition, SunnyCam now offers a Sports Edition and a Snow Edition allowing fans of all sports the chance to film and share their greatest moments.

SunnyCam was the first video smart glass in the UK market and allows users to capture a true first-person point of view, without the need for attachments. Offering a hands-free filming experience for total ease of use, SunnyCam users will never miss a moment whether they’re cycling, snowboarding or even playing football. With no mounts to fiddle with, you can simply push a button, put them on and away you go.

On top of cutting edge technology, SunnyCam is designed to make the user look good while wearing it. The camera is cleverly integrated into the body, so unlike other devices, SunnyCam can be worn all the time and not just when you’re using it.

SunnyCam Sport Edition is the world’s thinnest – and only full 1080p wide-angle – video smart glass. Thanks to flexible frame technology, it can meet the demands of even the most extreme of extreme sports. SunnyCam Sports Edition is designed to be used in a wide number of sports, but would be equally at home at a gig or when backpacking around the world.

Launching in 2016, SunnyCam Snow is a winter sports goggle designed for professional and amateur use. As well as 1080p wide-angle video recording, it comes with interchangeable dual layered lenses and over 1.5 hours of battery life.

SunnyCam uses Grilamid TR90 frames so all products are extremely durable, and each of the models available at launch has modifications making them supremely attuned to both professional and amateur users.

Chris Chance, Co-Founder and CEO of LYTE says:

“SunnyCam is the next generation of wearable tech. It doesn’t try to do too much, but simplicity is its greatest strength. Not only is it stylish enough to be worn when not being used, it offers a high level of performance and can be turned on with the touch of a button. SunnyCam is fantastic in a wide range of situations from team sports, to extreme sports to capturing moments with the family.”

SunnyCam Classic is currently stocked in Maplin and many other retailers, with an RRP of £99.99.
